Abstract

PURPOSE: For dynamically testing the dynamically effective values of the space ratio of clearances, to measure while generating pressure pulsation in a cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: This tester consists of a pipe 12 communicating with the clearance in a cylinder, a vibration applying source 13 provided in said pipe 12, and a measuring section 14 for measuring the pressure pulsation in said cylinder 2. Pressure pulsation is generated in said cylinder 2 by said vibration applying source 13 and measured by said measuring section 14, and the space ratio of the clearance of a reciprocating compressor 1 is calculated on the basis of the value of said pressure pulsation. Thus, performance test can be carried out simply by fitting a cylinder unit and dynamically effective performance values can be obtained without much works and costs.
