Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the visual recognition of the air movement by displaying the air flow in and out with automatic light emitting elements for a certain period of time controlled by a timer after receiving triggered signals. CONSTITUTION:A display part 61 has a glass or acryl smoke panel 612 arranged behind a display plate 611 and having a shelter plate on the back surface. FRESH indication 616, RECIRC indication 617, DEF indication 619, HEAT/R 620 and VENT indication 621 are all illustrated through cut-off parts of the shelter plate 613 for easy visual recognition of the air movement. The respective indications are distinguished by red and blue lights. The electric current is supplied from a fan switch 53 to a timer circuit, which lightens a ninth lamp 649 during a limited period of time. Accordingly, the electric consumption is made small and no dazzling light stimulates the driver's eye.
