Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a monitor picture, the desirable region of which can be observed, by detecting the zoom ratio of a zoom lens provided to a TV camera and by changing the slewing speed of the swivel base of the TV camera corresponding to the detected zoom ratio.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is equipped with swivel base 4 which swivels a color TV camera and position detection circuit 3 which detects the position of zooming motor 1 detecting the zoom ratio of electric zoom lens 2. Further, motor-speed control circuit 8 is provided which varies the zoom ratio detected by this detection circuit 3 and receives signals from rotary-base operation switch 11 provided to operation unit 9 to vary the rotation speeds of vertical rotating motor 5 and horizontal rotating motor 6 of swivel base 4. Then, the zoom ratio of lens 1 equivalent to the operation zoom operation switch 10 of operation unit 9 is detected and vertical and horizontal rotation speeds of swivel base 4 of the TV camera is varied corresponding to the zoom ratio.
