Abstract
PURPOSE: Specific polypropylene resins with molecular weights different from each other are blended to produce title composition with a specific intrinsic viscosity, thus giving laminate products with high heat-sealing strength, high toughness and good transparency.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 70W95, preferably 60W90 wt% of a polypropylene with an intrinsic viscosity of less than 1.8 dl/g, preferably 1.5 dl/g or less, and (B) 5W30, preferably 10W20 wt% of a polypropylene with an intrinsic viscosity 3W5, preferably 3.5W 4.5 times that of polymer (A), and (C) 0W30wt% of a polypropylene with an intrinsic viscosity lying between those of (A) and (B) are mixed to form a composition with an intrinsic viscosity of 1.2W2, preferably 1.3W1.8 dl/g. Said polymer is prepared by polymerizing or copolymerizing propylene using a Ziegler- Natta catalyst in the same polymerization system, wherein the concentration of hydrogen is changed in multistages to alter the molecular weight of polypropylene.
