Abstract
PURPOSE: To obviate receiving the influence of unbalance residual voltage even if the temperature of the conductive material to be measured changes by adjusting the amplification factor and phase shift quantity of a phase shift circuit so that the output signal of a subtractor becomes zero thereby performing zero adjustment in the state where the conductive material is still.
CONSTITUTION: The output signals E1, E2 of detecting coils 1 and 2 are amplified to B1E1, B1E2, which are then subjected to differential amplification and cumulative amplification and respectively B1B2EΔ and B1B2'ET are outputted. The output signal B1B2'ET of an operational amplifier 20 is inputted to a phase shift circuit 21 of amplification factor B3 and d of phase shift quantity of become B1B2'B3ejα ET, which is then outputted and is applied to the input part + side of a differential operation amplifier 14. If the amplification factor B3 and phase shift quantity α of the phase shift circuit 21 are so adjusted that the output signal of a rectifier circuit 15 becomes zero while the conductive material to be measured is still, the influence of the unbalance residual voltage does not appear in the output signal of the rectifier circuit 15 even if the temperature of the material to be measured changes to a temperature differing from the temperature at the zero adjustment when it is moving at a certain speed.
