Abstract

PURPOSE:To recover the carrier vapors efficiently and safely in a liquid state and in high purity by effecting the separating and condensing processes after the air containing the carrier vapors passes through a liquid medium. CONSTITUTION:The air containing carrier vapors is collected from a fixing drying unit 1 by a sucking blower 2 and fed to an absrobing column 3 filled up with a liquid medium. The carrier vapors in the air are absorbed and dissolved in a liquid medium, which is fed through a preheater 4 and fed to a rectification column 5 so that it is divided into the carrier vapors and the liquid medium. The carrier vapors thus separated are condensed by a condensor 6 and liquidified so that it is fed to a developing 7 tank or a photosensitive element. On the other hand, the liquid medium from the rectification column 3 is fed through a cooler 8 to an absorbing column.
