Abstract

PURPOSE:To evaporate a solvent smoothly at a sufficiently low temp. enough for causing no bumping in a distillator by feeding hot air to the solvent which has been used for cleaning in the distillation stage of the solvent thus exposing the solvent to the air. CONSTITUTION:A button trap 3 is provided to a basket A contg. a solvent which has been used for dry cleaning, and the solvent is transferred to a distillator through a pump P. The hot solvent is exposed to hot air heated with an air heater 12 and fed to the distillator 4 through a fan 16. Vapor of the solvent evaporated by said aeration is introduced into a condenser 6 together with the hot air where a part of the solvent is condensed and recovered, and residual part of the solvent vapor is transported to an air cooler 11 where it is condensed and recovered. The recovered solvent is separated from water by the difference of specific gravity in a water separator 7, and recovered in a base tank 1. By this process, deterioration of the solvent is prevented and the running cost of dry cleaning is reduced because the solvent can be distilled at low temp.
