Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in the density of recording images at heating resistance element block boundaries by simultaneously heating-driving the other heating resistance elements positioned closest to the heating resistance element blocks being heating-driven to the extent that thermographing is not accomplished. CONSTITUTION:Bias resistances 18, 20 and bias diodes 19, 21 are inserted between the driving leads 507, 508 of the heating resistance element block 15 connected to common wires 111, 112 and the driving leads 509, 510 at the end of the heating resistance element block 16 connected to common wires 113, 114. Bias resistances 22, 24 and bias diodes 23, 25 are inserted between the driving leads 515, 516 and driving leads 517, 518, between the heating resistance element blocks 16, 17. This makes it possible to flow bias current simultaneously to the heating elements adjoining to the respective heating resistance element blocks to be thermographed now and let heat be evolved up to the temperature at which recording does not take place.
