Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent supercooling of the condensed water and the generation of flow in a reheater and increase the reliability of the plugged reheater and improve the thermal efficiency of a turbine by forming a reheater consisting of horizontal U-tube group and allowing the steam to be heated to flow in the horizontal direction from the high temperature side of reheated steam.
CONSTITUTION: The steam containg hygroscopic moisture supplied from a high- pressure turbine flows into a sealed vessel 1 from a steam inlet part 2, and flows into a hygroscopic moisture separator 5 through a heat flowing plate 4, and after the water contained is removed, the steam flows in the horizontal direction across a reheater 6, and is reheated to superheated state, and flows out from a steam exit part 3. The reheated steam in high temperature and pressure enters into a header 7 from a steam inlet pipe 8, flows in the pipes of the reheater 6, and is condensed. The condensed water is dischaged outside the vessel 1 from a drainage pipe 9, and uncondensed water is discharged from a steam discharger pipe 15. Thus, due to the horizontal arrangement of pipe ground and the reduction of temperature difference on the lower stream side, the supercooling of condensed water and the generation of the plugged flow in the reheater 6 can be prevented.
