Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the control for both the picture and the voice with a simplified system by dividing equally the memory of one chip into two parts to use these two parts alternately as the refresh memories and also use one of the two parts as the buffer memory for the information given from the magnetic tape.

CONSTITUTION: The picture reproducing device reads out the picture signals recorded previously on the voice recording magnetic tape and then projects the signals on the TV picture receiver. In such reproducing device, the capacity of one unit of picture memory 15 is divided equally into two parts, and the picture signals sent from cassette deck 10 are discriminated through data/clock discriminator circuit 11 into the picture data and the transfer clock. And the data is applied to memory 15 via data ratch 12 and endless circuit 14. At the same time, address counter 16 and 17 plus multiplexer 18 are controlled with the clock discriminated via circuit 11 and the reading clock of reading clock generator circuit 19. And memory 15 is used alternately as the refresh memories, and one of the divided two parts of 15 is used as the buffer memory for the picture information given from the magnetic tape while the other is being used as the reflesh memory.
