CONSTITUTION:Output electrode 43 is provided on piezoelectric substrate 41 and at elastic surface wave propagation path 44 led from input electrode 42. Electrode 43 is formed by varying partially the length of the effective excitation opening. And sound absorbing component 45 and 46 are provided to the elastic surface wave propagation path outside electrode 42 and 43. Thus, an elastic surface wave device is obtained. As a result, the attenuation amount of the filter can be reduced sufficiently without varying the filter properties.
