Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish discrimination of accurate rotational direction from the low to high speed range by shifting phase by a given time for one of two AC voltages varied in phase which is generated by a speed generator.
CONSTITUTION: A coil 2 and a coil 3 of a speed generator 1 generates a voltage V1 and V2 varied in phase. The voltage V2 is applied to a resistance 13 through a resistance 12 and a capacitor 11 to advance the phase. An AC voltage Va developed across the resistance 13 is made to overlap a DC boltage Vb oftained from the division of a DC voltage Vc by a resistance 14 and a resistance 15 and then, inputted to a direct-coupled waveform shaping circuit 5. A D-T flipflop 6 discriminates the rotational direction by the phase relationship of square wave forms TGX and TGY outputted from axoscillating waveform shaping circuit 4 and a direct-coupled waveform shaping circuit 5.
