Abstract

PURPOSE: To plan promotion of working efficiency and shortening of manufacturing time by welding twisted annular screw blade elements, made by press-work, to a shaft one by one and brazing semi-circular and annular antifriction pieces to a peripheral portion of a load surface of the screw blade.
CONSTITUTION: An annular screw blade element 1 is provided with a cut 2 in radial direction and twisted by pressing both sides 2a, 2b toward opposing direction each other so that a distance between both sides 2a, 2b becomes to be a pitch length of the screw, then, stress caused by the press works is removed, and thus, a stabilized screw blade element 3 may be obtained. An accurate screw may be obtained by welding these blade element 3 to a shaft 4 from an end portion thereof one by one. A piece 6, with a specified configuration and made of antifriction material such as sintered tangsten carbide or the like, is arranged adjacently along a peripheral portion of a load surface of the screw blade and brazed to the screw blade 5 after heated by a portable high-frequency heating device 12, and thus, an antifriction layer may be formed around the peripheral portion of the screw blade.
