Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent malfunction when the stacking pitch or the spacing of pile rows is small by providing a plurality of detectors symmetrically to the vertex of a pile and detecting the pile with the signal from the detector in the stacking progression direction.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of subsequently performing stacking in the positions of P1, P2, P3 within the range of 0° to 90° of the slewing angle of the boom where the stacking progression direction is backward (rightward movement), the contactor detecting the piles is indicated as D in the table and the contacts 13a and 14b are held closed. Hence, only when the contactor D closes, an electromagnetic coil 15 is energized to apply an output signal to a control unit. At the forming of a pile 5, all the contactors A, B, C, D make contact to the slant face thereof but only the signal from the contactor D is transmitted. During moving to the next stacking position P2, the contactor B contacts the slant face on the opposite side but the signal from the contactor B is not transmitted and therefore the occurrence of malfunction is obviated.
