Abstract

PURPOSE: A winder giving precisely shaped packages in which a mechanically connected DC-motor regulator is set on the movable table supporting the spindle of the winder, thus keeping the peripheral speed of the package that is being formed constant.
CONSTITUTION: Transmitter 98 detects the increase in the pressure of traverse mechanism on guid shoe with the increase in the diameter of package and removes spindle table 18 from the traverse mechanism by a slight distance with DC-motor 34. The slight motion of table 18 is transferred through cum surface 124 of cum plate 122 that is fixed on table 18 to spur gear 116 that is connected to gear rack 118 and set on the shaft of potentiometer 114. Cum 122 has a shape so as to keeping the peripheral speed of package on spindle 3 constant, thus regulating potentiometer 114 and the speed of motor 40 through speed regulator for DC-motor 110 to control the speed of spindle 36 and traverse mechanism.
