Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for the use of an agitator and an additive in the case when making use of emulsified fuel, by feeding fuel and water to an injection port by means of speatate synchronized injection pumps, and by simultaneously maxing and injecting the fuel and the water by injection pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel 1 and water 2 are each introduced to plunger pumps 7, 8 for injection through filters 3, 4. These plunger ppumps 7, 8 are driven by means of the cams 5, 6 of cam shafts, which synchronize by the revolution of an engine and are operated, and separately feed fuel and water, which quantities are suitably adjusted, to an injection nozzle 9. The injection nozzle 9 is arranged in such a manner that a valve port is opened because a nozzle needle valve body 10 is pushed by the pressure of the fuel 1 and the water 2 supplied from said pumps 7, 8, and the fuel and the water are mixing emulsified at an orifice portion 11 and injected from an injection port 12.
