Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The latent imae of photoreceptor drum 10 is developed with developing roller 43, and in the next rotation of drum 10 on closing switch SW1 peeling roller 44 peels off the toner in a magnetic brush formed on roller 43 with the electric field produced between roller 43 and peeling roller 44. As a result, a magnetic brush made of carrier powder charged to a polarity reverse to that of the toner is formed around roller 44 and the excess toner attached to drum 10 is effectively removed with roller 43 without being scattering.
