Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformly rake contents out, by disposing a main body provided with a raking-out plane, which spirally falls to the outside from a center, to a lower portion of a vertical type furnace for treating waste in a revolution-possible shape, and by passing a cooling medium through the inside of the main body.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral, conical raking-out device 2 is turned by means of a driving shaft 9, and contents in a vertical type furnace are raked out to a circumferential portion from a center of the furnace. Air for cooling is fed from inlets for refrigerant of a bottom of the device 2, and passes through clearances 11 for cooling formed by means of partition plates 7 for cooling from cooling air intake ports 10 drilled to an inner cover 8 of a cooling chamber to cool a shell 5 of the device 2. The air is exhausted from air discharge ports 6 drilled to one portion of the shell 5, and utilized as air for combustion, etc. This method preheats air for cooling, and recovers heat, thus improving the thermal efficiency of the furnace.
