Abstract

PURPOSE:To relieve a central controller from its load by installing a dial pulse receiver which can discriminate the number of dial pulses and an interval between digits. CONSTITUTION:Dial pulses from subscriber 101 are lever-converted 104 and then counted by counter 305. The dial pulses are detected by change-point detection circuit 303 and timer counter 306 is cleared which makes a discrimination between digitas. Once the subscriber finishes dialing one digit of a dial number or puts back the receiver, counter 306 starts counting repetitive signal 302. Exercising a supervision over output signal 307 from counter 306 and the state of the subscriber, ORT control circuit 304 when receiving a signal central controller 108 after signal 307 sends out a signal to lead 309. At the same time, state informatin on the subscriber is sent out to central controller 108 via lead 310.
