Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Optically active pyridoxamine derivatives of formula I (n is 4. 5).
EXAMPLE: (-)14-Hydroxy-15-aminomethyl-2,8-dithia(9)(2,5) pyridinophane.
USE: A reagent for synthesizing optically active aminoacids: optically active aminoacids are directly obtained by transamination without optical resolution.
PREPARATION: The reaction between a pyridinophane deivative of formula II and hydroxylamine hydrochloride in an organic solvent as ethanol or methanol is conducted in the presence of a base as anhydrous sodium acetate at room temperature to 7°C to give an oxime derivative of formula III. The resulting product is reduced with NaBH2S3 in an organic solvent as THF at 60 W 90°C to prepare a compound of formula I.
