Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain a smooth change-over of control modes in a simplified constitution by constituting a set value change-over method for an automatic control system such that an operation is periodically performed for causing to gradually approach to each other the contents of a table in which set values from a higher level operation controller are stored and the contents of another table in which set values adapted to be used in a lower level operation controller are stored.
CONSTITUTION: A lower level operation controller 1 applies a predetermined operation over set values stored in a memory SVl and a detected values PV of a process 3 and outputs a manipulated variable MV. The set values can be changed through a higher level operation controller 7 or manually through switches SW1, SW2. In case of a manual change, a switch SWl is made on to thereafter increase or decrease of the contents of the memory SVl by operation of the switch SW1 or SW2. In a change with the higher level operation controller 7, a switch SWh is made on whereafter changed set values are set to the memory SVh. And an operation is performed for causing the contents of the memory SVl to gradually approach the contents of the memory SVh.
