Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture the title tube having a high accuracy of inside diameter, by shrinking a heat-shrinkable resin tube comprising an inside diameter sizing unit having a blade on the periphery, and by making the cooled tube slide on the sizing unit. CONSTITUTION:The inside diameter sizing unit 2 having the blade 3 on the periphery connected to the support 4 having the rolls 6 and 6' via the connecting rod 5 is introduced into the heat-shrinkable tube 1, and the tube 1 is moved in the direction of arrow A by the take-off rolls 8 and 8'. A hot fluid is made to flow from the nozzle 9 down the tube 1, which is shrunk such an extent as to slide in close contact with the unit 2. A cooling fluid is made to flow from the nozzle 10 to cool and fix the tube 1, which is taken off by the rolls 8 and 8' so that continuous cut grooves are formed on the inner surface of the tube 1.
