Abstract

PURPOSE: To pulverize fuel for a gas turbine or the like by means of the centrifugal force of a high speed rotating rotor by providing a fuel injection nozzle in the vicinity of the rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel pulverizer 200 connected to a rotary shaft 1 for supporting a compressor blades 4 is disposed within a burner 15 of a gas turbine having the blades 4, the burner 15 and turbine blades 17, etc. The pulverizer 200 is secured to a shaft 1 by a mounting unit 103 and is composed of a smooth cylindrical intermediate portion 104 and a rib 102 inwardly bent at the end of the portion 104 with a plurality of injection holes 105 perforated radially at equal interval at the portion 104. An injection nozzle 110 is inserted into the cylinder 101. Thus, the fuel injected from the nozzle 110 forms a membrane by the centrifugal force to be pulverized via the holes 105 and to be injected into the burner 15.
