Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a washing machine provided with a timer program, which is capable of carrying out an effective rinsing operation at a minimum water quantity and also carrying out an effective dehydration operation which generates little crease.

CONSTITUTION: The major part of detergent components in the laundries are discharged by the centrifugal force out of the washing machine by operating dehydration of the machine for about 1 minute and 20 seconds for the initial time in accordance with the closure of a contact T2. Then, the contact T2 is opened for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. During this period, a dehydration cage 9 is stopped, and wetting and dilution of the detergent are carried out by service water. Furthermore, during this time, creases which have been generated at the initial time of the dehydration. Then, the dehydration operation of the washing machine for a short period of time of about 20 seconds is carried out so that the rotational number of the dehydration cage becomes 1200 through 1500 ppm to centrifugally dehydrated the laundries and to discharge the wet and diluted detergent components. Thereafter, the stop of the operation of the dehydration cage and wetting and carried out for 1 minute and 30 seconds, and dehydration for a short period of time of about 20 seconds is carried out and the dyhydration and rinsing operation is ended.
