Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to keep the output of an AGC circuit constant by controlling the gain of an amplifier by switching capacitors of an input level detector synchronizing with the input of each signal group. CONSTITUTION:Switching signal generator 13 generates a switching signal from a time-division input signal group and by this signal, analog switch 12 is controlled to change over sequentially capacitors 6a to 6c of input level detector 8 synchronizing with each input signal group. As a result, each capacitor is charged at the level of a corresponding signal group under no influence of any other signal group and by this voltage, gain control amplifier 2 is controlled. Therefore, even if each level of signal groups is different and varies independently, the output of the AGC circuit can be held at a constant level.
