Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the mixing-down without impairing the quality of the signal by converting the analog signals of the multi-channel once into the digital signals and then mixing down the minor channel in the digital signal state. CONSTITUTION:The analog signals of each channel which are applied to input terminals 1-7-1-n are converted into digital signals via A-D converters 8-1-8-n and then recorded to recorder 9. The digtal signals recorded to recorder 9 are sent to attenuators 10-1-10-2n at the mixing-down time to be attenuated properly. The attenuated digital signals are added via adders 11-1 and 11-2 to undergo the mixing-down and then converted to the analog signals through D-A converters 13-1 and 13-2 to be reproduced via reproducers 14-1 and 14-2.
