Abstract
PURPOSE: Treating apparatus for recovered flux, preventing moisture absorption and making flux control easy, by sending recovered flux to two flux recovering tank and removing dust, coarse grain. Fe etc. and also, carrying out careful selection and then, sending to the storage tank.
CONSTITUTION: Not slagged part of flux used for welding, is absorbed from the flux recovering opening 6 and is sent to the first flux recovering tank 14 and then, dust is separated. Next, the above flux is sent to the second flux recovering tank 18 and the dust is separated again and then, is thrown in the vibrating strainer 21 through the throwing-in hopper for sieving 20 and moreover, the flux being in the extent of prescribed grain size is discharge. Then, mill scale and fine iron powder, are removed by the magnetic ore separater 23 and treated flux is put in the flux storage tank 11. The above flux is joined new flux charged from the supply opening 1 and is heated and is kept warm by the heater 12. The above flux is sent pressurized to the flux supply hopper 5 and is circulated.
