Abstract

PURPOSE: To melt fallen snow on a roof by flowing a heating medium with heat stored in a heat accumulating reservoir back to a solar energy coolector through a heat conducting line which also serves to directly transfer heat of a heating medium in the solar energy coolector to the heat accumulating reservoir.
CONSTITUTION: When pipes 44 and 45 are communicated by manually operating a three-way valve 49, and a pump 51 is operated, a heating medium in a solar energy collector 3 is circulated through pipes 45, 44, 47, 46, 43, thereby the heating medium in the energy collector 3 is heated by heat of a heating medium from a heat accumlating reservoi 10, and the temperature over the energy collector 3 is raised to melt fallen snow on a roof. After the fallen snow has been melted, the system can be in a state of heating operation for heating rooms if the three-way valve 49 and the pump 51 is restored to an automatic operation.
