Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a polyamide resin molding composition giving a molded article having excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability and anti-static property, composed of specific amounts of xylylenediamine-based polyamide resin, nylon 66, carbon fibers, and glass fibers. CONSTITUTION:A composition composed of (A) 55-90 wt% of a polyamide resin obtained by the polycondensation reaction of a 6-12C alpha,omega-straight chain aliphatic dibasic acid with a mixed xylylenediamine composed of 60-100% of m-xylylenediamine and 40-0% of p-xylylenediamine, (B) 5-15 wt% of nylon 66, (C) 5-30 wt% of carbon fibers of a length of 0.3-10 mm, and (D) 0-30 wt% of glass fibers of a length of 3-6 mm. EFFECT:The composition gives a molded article having low density, excellent tensile strength, flexural strength, tensile modulus, and flexural modulus, low molding shrinkage, and high thermal conductivity.
