Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption at the controlling of reciprocating shutter by making effective use of magnetic fluxes through selective energizing of a plurality of moving coils.
CONSTITUTION: Plural coils C1, C2... provided to the bobbin of a coil supporting member 12 are energized by the magnetic flux by the magnetic field generated between the pole piece 11 of the permanent magnet 10 prqvided to a yoke 13 and the yoke 13, by which the member 12 is moved in the direction at a right angle to the magnetic flux. When this movement is detected and current is selectively supplied to the coils C1, C2... opposing the pole piece, the magnetic flux may be effectively utilized and the member 16 may be reciprocated for a long stroke with small consumption. Hence, the opening and closing of the reciprocating focal plane shutter of the camera cooperating with the member 16 may be accomplished with small power consumption.
