Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a diaphragm-system compressor wherein manufacture of the compressor is simplified and its durability is improved by fixing diaphragms concentrically on a driving shaft and reducing the size of the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: If a driving cam 16 rotates to a position of θ=120°, a ball 17 turns by 60°, an inverted cam 13 provided in a diaphragm 1 fixed concentrically on a driving shaft 14 reaching an upper dead point of 2h strokes. Consequently, if the driving cam 16 rotates by θ=240°, the inverted cam 13 makes one reciprocation. Thus, if the driving cam 16 rotates by the shaft 14 of a motor 20, the inverted cam reciprocates vertically at number of rotations 1.5 times greater than the number of rotations of the driving cam 16. Then, the diaphragm 1 reciprocates, introducing outer air aspirated into a chamber A to a chamber B through an inlet port 6b, a gap 6c, an inlet port 6a to compress the air, and feeding the compressed air to a discharge port 8 and an exit 12.
