Abstract

PURPOSE: To stop or activate window cleaner automatically in proportion to adhered quantity of drip of water and/or snow by providing window with sensor within sweeping range of blade for window cleaner and detecting variation between terminals caused by adherence of drip of water and/or snow.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 1 is provided within the sweeping range 5 of a blade 4 for a window cleaner sweeping the surface of a window 6, and senses quantity of drip of water and/or snow adhered to the surface of the window 6 and delivers sensed signals to a controller 2 which activates in turn the blade 4 for the window cleaner through a driving device 3. Electrodes 1a, 1a for the sensor 1 are disposed on the surface of the window 6 and a snow melting heater 9 is buried below the electrodes 1a. The electrodes 1 are connected with a terminal 11 for the sensor 1, thus the blade 4 may be activated by the electric signal proportional to the adhered quantity of drip of water and/or snow and may be stopped when drip of water of the like is removed by the blade 4.
