Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively remove yarn chips or the like from a dehydrating washing machine during washing step in the washing water through a lint filter provided at higher level than washing water level in washing water by a pump.

CONSTITUTION: When blades 5 are rotated at washing or rinsing time, water between an outer tank 1 and dehydrating tank 2 is intaken from a suction port 10 into a pumping chamber 7 by the pumping action of back blades 6. Although intaken water tends to pass through the gap C between the opening 22 of a pump chamber cover 24 and the rotary blades 5 into the tank 2 partially, it is mostly fed into discharge conduit 15 opened at the outer periphery of the chamber 7 of high pressure to be thus discharged from an exhaust port 18 through a lint filter 30 into the tank 2. Yarn chips floated in the washing water is collected by the filter 30 at that time. Since the filter 30 is isolated above the water level of the washing water, the chips thus once collected is not released by the washing water and accordingly exactly collected to be removed.
