Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit the capacity of a converter to be practically increased in relation to the operating condition of the automobile through switching of the clock frequency according to the operating stage of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:With the closure of the power source of the vehicle a processor 15 is started to let information about the engine cooling water temperature and intake air quantity to be taken up from a sensor 10 and memorized in a memory 17. When a start operation signal is coupled to the processor 15 with the starting operation of the internal combustion engine, the processor 15 reads out data memorized in the memory 17 and applies a switching signal 27a to an analog switch 26 according to the operating condition of the automobile to switch the clock frequency while also carrying out predetermined calculations on the basis of imput parameters to effect control of fuel injection, ignition timing and so forth.
