Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize high speed recording by sharply forming the waveforms through improvement of rise and fall characteristics of driving pulses applied to an electrode, by applying or cutting high voltage to a specified electrode by way of an active element of low impedance. CONSTITUTION:When an input pulse I1 is applied to drive a needle electrode S1 according to a picture signal, a transistor Q1 is cut off, and the electrode S1 gradually approches a supply voltage -Vs at the time constant determined by a combined capacity CL1 based on a load resistance RL1 and a floating capacity due to wiring of electrode or the like. At this time, a reference pulse Ic inputted at the same time is inputted into the base of Qc to make it to conduct, and the electrode S1 is directly connected to -Vs through a diode D1. Thus, bypassing the load resistance RL1 of high impedance, S1 is connected to -Vs by way of low impedance elements of Qc, D1, and the time constant diminishes, so that the electrode S1 suddenly drops to -Vs. When the input pulse I1 is eliminated, Q1 is made to conduct, and S1 is grounded by way of the low impedance thereof, thereby suddenly settling at the ground potential OV.
