Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the desired and optimum output voltage, by setting an optional resistance under a nonconductive state for a voltage control resistance circuit comprising plural resistances when control is given to the power supply output voltage of a computer that controls the internal combustion engine of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage EO of a constant voltage source is applied to the nonreverse input terminal of a voltage amplifying circuit 1 that is driven by the unstable voltage VCC, and a voltage setting resistance R1 is connected between the nonreverse input terminal and the earth potential point. In addition, another voltage setting resistance R2 is connected to the nonreverse input terminal, and a resistance circuit 3 for output voltage control consisting of resistances R3-R5 is connected between the other terminal of the resistance R2 and the output terminal of the circuit 1. In such constitution, the output voltage VO is controlled to a desired level by first obtaining the output voltage V1 of the circuit 1 with connection of the circuit 3 as well as the output voltage V2 of the circuit when a short circuit is given across the circuit 3. The optimum resistance value of the circuit 3 with the voltage VO set as the desired value is obtained from V1 and V2. Then an optional resistance is made nonconductive for the rsistances R3-R5.
