Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a circuit whose switching speed is quickened sufficiently, by providing transistors for discharging and charging a speed-up capacitor respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a current flows from driver circuit 3 to the base of transistor 1 via resistor 2 to make transistor 1 conductive, the current from driver circuit 3 shunts to the base of charging transistor 7 as well to make transistor 7 conductive and the charging current of capacitor 4 flows to collector power supply 6, transistor 7, speed-up capacitor 4 and the base of transistor 1, so that the lag and rise time of transistor 1 will be shortened. On the other hand, when transistor 1 becomes unconductive, discharging transistor 8 operates to shorten the accumulation and fall time of transistor 1. The switching speed can therefore be quickened sufficiently.
