Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect a motor according to an output of an integral circuit by outputting an output proportional to a square of a load current from a primary delay circuit at a time of a motor load current being less than a rated current and by changing over the primary delay circuit to an integral circuit when a load current becomes more than a rated current.
CONSTITUTION: When a contact X of an over current detecting relay 9 of a thermal element detecting circuit becomes to be closed, one end of a variable resistance VR2 of a feed back circuit in an integral circuit 11 is grounded to zero potential by the contact X, therefore a feed back circuit becomes not to exist and it becomes a perfect integral circuit. An output of the integral circuit 11 begins from V1 and when this becomes to higher than a trip establishing level V2, a comparator circuit 12 reverses, a trip relay 14 is energized by a driver circuit 13, an electromagnetic switch 1 or a circuit breaker is made open by its contact Y and a motor 2 is protected.
