Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the accurate operation via VIR signal irrespective of the flesh color corrector circuit by providing the automatic flesh color corrector circuit, the color saturation/hue corrector circuit and the means which stops the operation of the automatic flesh color corrector circuit with the pulse containing the VIR signal.
CONSTITUTION: In case automatic flesh color corrector circuit 9 and color saturation/hue corrector circuit 13 using the VIR signal are actuated simultaneously, the operation of circuit 13 becomes inaccurate since the VIR signal is corrected by circuit 9. Now with application of the vertical blanking pulse to terminal 22, transistor 23 conducts during the application time to secure the same state as the one under which switch 10 to stop the flesh color correction action is turned on. Thus, the operation of circuit 9 is stopped. Accordingly, the signal with no flesh color correction given enters color demodulator 8, and output 11 is applied to control signal generator 18. And the color saturation/hue control voltage is applied to pahse circuit 4 and amplifier 6 via switch circuit 20.
