Abstract

PURPOSE: Title fiber mass that has specific tow structure containing bundles of fibers different in the length of monolilament per unit length of tows (different in crimp percentage) and dry feeling, thus being suitably used for making summer sweaters, interior mannual arts, and others.
CONSTITUTION: Fiber mass consists of tows of 500W6000 in total denier with 5W 50 denier filament thickness, in which the length ratio of filaments forming the tows is 1W1.05, preferably 1.03 or less to the unit length of tows. As larger in the length ratio, fibers becomes larger in waving, twisting and entangling and the points where fibers entangle and contact with each other have such adhesion that it is loosen by application of outer forces.
