Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the magnetic variation of the welding transformer on purpose to perform good welding, by employing stepped waveform in which the step transit for every one cycle of the power-source-frequency, for the purpose of settling the firing angle of the switching element included in the welding power source circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The circuit is constituted of the block I that is the stepped-waveform-generating-circuit portion, and of the block II that is the firing-pulse-settling- circuit portion. In the clock circuit portion of the block I, the power source frequency, whose phase is to be controlled, is detected by the controlling transformer 5; and the clock pulse signal for every one cycle of the power source frequency is prepared by the diode 6 and the Schmitt type digital IC 7. This signal is inputted to the integrator including the operational amplifier 16. In the firing-pulse-settling- circuit of the block II, the pulse for settling the firing position is prepared by constituting the integrator, which receives the output signal of above operational amplifier 16 as the charge signal, of the operational amplifier 20, etc.; and the phase control pulse for the switching element is prepared through the pulse transformer 40.
