Abstract

PURPOSE: To save the energy by arrenging such that a solvent adsorber is placed in front of a compressor, and solvent vapor is made to pass through the adsorber and then it is sucked into the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: Solvent vapor adsorber 34 formed of high-pressure resisting container 35, adsorber injection port 36, adsorber discharge port 37 and conduits 38 and 33. Conduit 38 is provided with many small holes 40, the object of which is to bring the vapor which has entered the conduit and expanded in it into contact with adsorbent 39, and it is connected to compressor 32. Conduit 33 is connected to generator 5 via check valve 18 and conduit 17. Solvent vapor adsorber 34 is filled with adsorbent 39 having a strong affinity with D. M. F. By this, it is made possible to use a compressor for a long time without trouble even if D. M. F is used. Consequently, a compressor can be connected to an absorption Freon refrigerator, and thereby a great energy saving can be accomplished.
