Abstract
PURPOSE: To control the quantity of raw materials cut off, by adjusting the speed of a conveyor by detecting the loads of raw materials on the conveyor and the speed of the conveyor and by comparing the quantity of raw materials cut off, which is computed, and the set value.
CONSTITUTION: A load regulator 15 judges as to whether or not loads detected by means of a load detector 5 in response to the set value are constant, and puts out correction signals to a multiplier 17. The multiplier 17 multiplies the output signals of the load regulator 15 and the output signals of a function computer 16, and transmits load adjusting signals to a motor 10 for adjusting the function of a dosing slider 3. Thus, a loop gain of a load control system consisting of the load detector 5, the load regulator 15, the multiplier 17, the motor 10 and the dosing slider 3 changes in response to the set value of the quantity of raw materials cut off, and the adjusting signals of the quantity of raw materials cut off are transmitted to a speed set instrument 12 and the speed of a belt conveyor 2 is varied.
