Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively charge a wire alloy additive easy to react with the air and to float into molten iron in a ladle by surrounding a floating part of an inert gas blown from the bottom of the ladle with a crycylindrical vessel and charging the additive coated with a sheet of metal which slightly reacts with the molten iron along the inner wall of the vessel.
