Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve dephosphorization and desulfurization simultaneously by making metal or alloy, which should be refined in nonoxidizing and nonnitriding atmosphere, contact with slag containing CaC2 and halide of alkaline earth metal (preferably CaF2) as the principal component with addition of Ca or Cacontaining alloy.
