Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a seam welded steel pipe in post-annealing the welded part of the pipe by high frequency induction heating, by using an inductor whose width is substantially wider than that of a part of the pipe to be annealed, thereby making a difference in temperature between the inner and outer surfaces of the welded part small.
