Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign matter from clogging without degrading the workability of a simple trap by composing a sump cylinder and a cylindrical body of a synthetic resin and by forming bellows in an upstream side position and a downstream side position in a linear part of the cylindrical body. SOLUTION: Drained water from a washbowl 30, etc. is allowed to flow from an approximately U-shaped sump cylinder 2 to a stick-shaped cylindrical body 1 to reach a drain pipe 31. In this simple trap, the sump cylinder 2 and the cylindrical body are composed of a synthetic resin, and bellows 4, 5 are formed in an upstream side position A and a downstream side position B of a linear part 1a of the cylindrical body 1, respectively. The bellows 4, 5 are appropriately bent in construction so that the dislocation of the drain port of the washbowl 5, etc., from the drain entrance of the drain pipe 31 can be absorbed. This constitution can hold the same workability as that having a long bellows as the linear part of the cylinder and avoid the clogging of the foreign matter.

Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a simple trap of this type, as shown in FIG. 3, for example, the position of a drain port of a wash basin 30 and a drain port of a drain pipe 31 located under the floor are shown. A simple trap made of a material, wherein bellows are formed at an upstream position of a straight portion of the cylindrical body and at a downstream position of the straight portion.
