Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.流体−流体接触装置であって、ストラクチャード・パッキングは所定の流体 フローの方向に沿って連続して配置された複数のパッキング・エレメントを有し 、各パッキング・エレメントは互いに対向する複数の波形材料シートを有し、同 シートの複数のコルゲーションは前記流体フローの方向に対して斜めに延び、1 つのエレメント内の複数のシートを隣接するエレメント内の複数のシートに対し て角変位させるべく前記連続する複数のエレメントがそれぞれ配置されている装 置において、前記連続する複数のエレメント間のインターフェースにおける連続 相の圧力低下を小さくすべく同インターフェース上または同インターフェース付 近に配置された手段を有する装置。 2.前記手段はインターフェースに隣接する複数のコルゲーションの形状を局部 的に変化させることによって形成されている請求項1に記載の装置。 3.各パッキング・エレメントの複数のシートのうちの少なくとも一部は少なく とも幾らかのコルゲーションを有し、同コルゲーションの傾斜角度はパッキング ・エレメントの互いに対向する複数の面の間で変化し、前記複数の面のうちの少 なくとも1つの面の付近における前記傾斜角度はパッキング・エレメント本体内 における最大傾斜角度より更に大きい請求項2に記載の装置。 4.前記複数のコルゲーションは前記複数の面に対して最大で90度の角度で交 わる1つまたは複数の終端部分を有し、各コルゲーションの長さの少なくとも一 部分上に位置する同コルゲーションの複数の中間部分は更に浅い角度で延びてい る請求項3に記載の装置。 5.前記各コルゲーションの傾斜角度は長さ方向に沿って連続的に変化する請求 項3または4に記載の装置。 6.前記各パッキング・エレメントの複数のシートのうちの少なくとも一部に設 けられた複数のコルゲーションのうちの少なくとも一部は同パッキング・エレメ ントの前記複数の面のうちの少なくとも1つの面の付近において断面積が減少す るように形成されており、これによって同位置における表面積及び圧力低下をそ れぞれ小さくする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。 7.前記複数のコルゲーションの少なくとも一部はパッキング・エレメントの前 記複数の面のうちの少なくとも1つの面の付近において深度が局部的に浅くなっ ている請求項6に記載の装置。 8.前記連続する複数のエレメント間のインターフェースにおける圧力低下を小 さくすべく同インターフェース上または同インターフェース付近に配置された手 段は、流体フロー制御手段を有する請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の装置 。 9.前記連続する複数のパッキング・エレメントは装置を通過するバルク流体フ ローの方向に沿って互いに離間して配置され、前記流体フロー制御手段はその間 隙内に配置されている請求項8に記載の装置。 10.前記連続する複数のエレメント間のインターフェースにおける圧力低下を 小さくすべく同インターフェース上または同インターフェース付近に配置された 手段は、インターフェースにおける連続相の圧力低下を大幅に小さくするのに効 果的な間隙を有する請求項1に記載の装置。 11.前記間隙は少なくとも2cmである請求項10に記載の装置。 12.互いに対向する複数の波形材料シートを有するストラクチャード・パッキ ング・エレメントであって、前記シートの複数のコルゲーションは流体フローの 方向に対して斜めに延び、1つのエレメント内の複数のシートを隣接するエレメ ント内の複数のシートに対して角変位させるべく前記連続する複数のエレメント がそれぞれ配置されており、前記複数のコルゲーションはエレメントの少なくと も1つの面に隣接するコルゲーションの形状の局部的変化を有し、2つのエレメ ントを互いに対向して配置した際、前記形状の局部的変化はインターフェースに おける連続相の圧力低下を小さくするのに効果的であるストラクチャード・パッ キング・エレメント。 13.前記形状の局部的変化は前記エレメントの複数の面のうちの少なくとも1 つの面の付近における傾斜角度の変化を含み、同位置における前記傾斜角度は前 記1つの面から内側へ離間した位置における傾斜角度より大きい請求項10に記 載のエレメント。 14.前記形状の局部的変化は前記エレメントの複数の面のうちの少なくとも1 つの面の付近におけるコルゲーションの深度の減少を含む請求項10に記載のエ レメント。
