Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)キャリア液体と、 (b) (i)重量 - 平均分子量が5,000ダルトン以上、多分散度が15未満の(コ ー)ポリマー立体安定剤であって、該キャリア液体に不溶性の熱可塑性(コー) ポリマーのコアに共有結合によって結合されている該(コー)ポリマー立体安定 剤を含むオルガノゾルと、を含む液体インクにおいて、該(コー)ポリマー立体 安定剤と該熱可塑性(コー)ポリマーのコアとの重量比が1:1と1:15の間 にあり、該(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤が22℃以上において独立して、かつ可 逆的に結晶化する結晶性ポリマー部分を含む液体インク。 2.前記立体安定剤が、エチレン性不飽和脂肪族イソシアネートを使用して前記 熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアに共有結合によって結合される請求項1に記 載の液体インク。 3.前記エチレン性不飽和脂肪族イソシアネートがメタイソプロペニルジメチル ベンジルイソシアネートと2 - シアナトエチルメタクリレートとからなる群か ら選択される請求項2に記載の液体インク。 4.前記インクがさらに少なくとも一種の着色材を含む請求項1に記載の液体イ ンク。 5.前記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアが25℃未満のガラス転移温度を有 する請求項1に記載の液体インク。 6.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤に共有結合によ って結合されているポリマーの側鎖である請求項1に記載の液体インク。 7.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤のポリマーの主 鎖内のポリマー単位である請求項1に記載の液体インク。 8.前記インクがさらに視覚的強調添加剤を含む請求項1に記載の液体インク。 9.前記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアが25℃未満のガラス転移温度を有 する請求項4に記載の液体インク。 10.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤に共有結合に よって結合されているポリマーの側鎖である請求項4に記載の液体インク。 11.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤のポリマーの 主鎖内のポリマー単位である請求項4に記載の液体インク。 12.前記インクがさらに視覚的強調添加剤を含む請求項4に記載の液体インク 。 13.(a)カウリ-ブタノール数が30未満のキャリア液体と (b)荷電制御剤と、 (c)(i)重量-平均分子量が50,000ダルトンと1,000,000 ダルトンの間、多分散度が15未満の(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤であって、該 キャリア液体に不溶性の熱可塑性(コー)ポリマーのコアに共有結合によって結 合されている該(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤を含むオルガノゾルと、を含む電子 写真またはエレクトログラフ用の液体トナーにおいて、該(コー)ポリマー立体 安定剤と該熱可塑性(コー)ポリマーのコアとの重量比が1:1と1:15の間 にあり、該(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤が22℃以上において独立して、かつ可逆 的に結晶化する結晶性ポリマー部分を含む電子写真またはエレクトログラフ用の 液体トナー。 14.前記立体安定剤が、エチレン性不飽和脂肪族イソシアネートを使用して前 記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアに共有結合によって結合される請求項13 に記載の液体トナー。 15.前記エチレン性不飽和脂肪族イソシアネートがメタイソプロペニルジメチ ルベンジルイソシアネートと2 - シアナトエチルメタクリレートとからなる群 から選択される請求項13に記載の液体トナー。 16.前記トナーがさらに少なくとも一種の着色材を含む請求項13に記載の液 体トナー。 17.前記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアが25℃未満のガラス転移温度を 有する請求項13に記載の液体トナー。 18.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が、前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤に共有結 合によって結合されたポリマーの側鎖である請求項13に記載の液体トナー。 19.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤のポリマーの 主鎖内の重合体単位である請求項13に記載の液体トナー。 20.前記トナーがさらに視覚的強調添加剤を含む請求項13に記載の液体トナ ー。 21.前記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアが25℃未満のガラス転移温度を 有する請求項16に記載の液体トナー。 22.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が、前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤に共有結合 によって結合されたポリマーの側鎖である請求項16に記載の液体トナー。 23.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤のポリマーの 主鎖内のポリマー単位である請求項16に記載の液体トナー。 24.前記トナーがさらに視覚的強調添加剤を含む請求項16に記載の液体トナ ー。 25.(a)自表面上に静電荷を有する光受容体要素を提供するステップと、 (b)該表面を該表面の部分を放電させるための放射線源によって露光し て潜像を生じさせるステップと、 (c)請求項11に記載の電子写真の有色液体トナーを該光受容体要素の 表面上の潜像に塗付して階調画像を形成するステップと、 (d)任意に該階調画像を転写媒体に転写するステップと、 (e)該階調画像を最終受容体に転写するステップと、を含む画像を最終 受容体上に形成するための方法。 26.(a)カウリ-ブタノール数が30未満のキャリア液体と、 (b)荷電制御剤と、 (c)(i)重量平均分子量が50,000ダルトンと1,000,000 ダルトンの間、多分散度が15未満の(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤であって、該 キャリア液体に不溶性の熱可塑性(コー)ポリマーのコアに共有結合によって結 合されている該(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤を含むオルガノゾルと、を含む静電 液体トナーにおいて、該(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤と該熱可塑性(コー)ポリ マ ーのコアとの重量比が1:1と1:15の間にあり、該(コー)ポリマー立体安 定剤が22℃以上において独立して、かつ可逆的に結晶化する結晶性ポリマー部 分を含む静電液体トナー。 27.前記立体安定剤が、エチレン性不飽和脂肪族イソシアネートを使用して前 記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアに共有結合によって結合される請求項26 に記載の静電液体トナー。 28.前記エチレン性不飽和脂肪族イソシアネートがメタイソプロペニルジメチ ルベンジルイソシアネートと2 - シアナトエチルメタクリレートとからなる群 から選択される請求項26に記載の静電液体トナー。 29.前記トナーがさらに少なくとも一種の着色材を含む請求項26に記載の静 電液体トナー。 30.前記トナーがさらに視覚的強調添加剤を含む請求項26に記載の静電液体 トナー。 31.前記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアが15℃と45℃の間のガラス転 移温度を有する請求項26に記載の静電液体トナー。 32.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が、前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤に共有結合 によって結合されたポリマーの側鎖である請求項26に記載の静電液体トナー。 33.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤のポリマーの 主鎖内のポリマー単位である請求項26に記載の静電液体トナー。 34.前記熱可塑性の(コー)ポリマーのコアが15℃と45℃の間のガラス移 温度を有する請求項29に記載の静電液体トナー。 35.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が、前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤に共有結合 によって結合されたポリマーの側鎖である請求項29に記載の静電液体トナー。 36.前記結晶性ポリマー部分が前記(コー)ポリマー立体安定剤のポリマーの 主鎖内のポリマー単位である請求項29に記載の静電液体トナー。 37.前記トナーがさらに視覚的強調添加剤を含む請求項29に記載の静電液体 トナー。 38.(a)誘電要素を提供するステップと、 (b)静電荷を該誘電要素の表面上に画像パターンに印加して潜像を生じ させるステップと、 (c)請求項22に記載のエレクトログラフ用の静電液体トナーを該誘電 要素の表面上の潜像に塗付して階調画像を形成するステップと、 (d)任意に該階調画像を最終受容体に転写するステップと、を含む画像 を受容体上に形成する方法。
