Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.超硬合金ボディー及び被膜からなる鋼旋削用の切削工具インサートであっ て、 前記超硬合金が、 WCと、5〜11wt%のCoと、2〜10wt%のTi、Ta及び/または Nbの立方晶炭化物と、0.76〜0.92のCW−比率を有する高W合金化バ インダー相とからなり、且つ 前記被膜が、 − 0.1〜2μmの厚みと、<0.5μmの大きさの等軸粒とを有するTi CxNyOzの第1(最内側)層、 − <5μmの直径の柱状粒で3〜15μmの厚みのTiCxNyOzの層、 − 1〜9μmの厚みの滑らかで微細な粒(0.5〜2μm)のκ−Al2O3 −層の外側層を含む、 ことを特徴とする鋼旋削用切削工具インサート。 2.前記κ−Al2O3−層が、1〜3μmの厚みを有することを特徴とする請 求項1記載の切削工具インサート。 3.前記κ−Al2O3−層が、4〜8μmの厚みを有することを特徴とする請 求項1記載の切削工具インサート。 4.前記超硬合金ボディーが、立方晶炭化物が取り除かれた15〜35μmの 厚みの表面域を有することを特徴とする先行の請求項のいずれかに従う切削工具 インサート。 5.超硬合金が、6.5〜8.0wt%のCoの組成と、0.80〜0.90 のCW−比率とを有することを特徴とする先行の請求項のいずれかに従う切削工 具インサート。 6.最外側層が0.1〜1μmの厚みのTiN層であることを特 徴とする先行の請求項のいずれかに従う切削工具インサート。 7.最外側のTiN層が切削刃に沿って除去されていることを特徴とする先行 の請求項のいずれかに従う切削工具インサート。 8.超硬合金ボディー及び被膜からなる旋削用のインサートの製造方法であっ て、 0.76〜0.92のCW−比率で高W合金化バインダー相を有するWC−C o−基超硬合金ボディーが、 − 既知のCVD−法を使用して0.1〜2μmの厚みと、<0.5μmの大 きさの等軸粒とを有するTiCxNyOzの第1(最内側)の層、 − 850〜900℃の好ましい温度域で層を形成するために炭素と窒素の源 としてアセトニトリルを使用し、MTCVD技法によって蒸着された<5μmの 直径の柱状粒で3〜15μmの厚みのTiCxNyOzの層、 − 1〜9μmの厚みを有する滑らかなκ−Al2O3層、 で被膜されたことを特徴とする旋削用インサートの製造方法。 9.前記超硬合金が、バインダー層の濃厚な表面域を有することを特徴とする 先行の請求項に従う製造方法。 10.熱間鍛造及び冷間鍛造した低合金鋼の旋削のための請求項1〜7のイン サートの使用。
